Role Purpose:

To manage purchasing and sourcing activities for Ajlan & Bros Mining, and to provide support to Joint Venture procurement. Ensuring services, materials, and equipment are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company standards and policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle procurement operations for ABM, including preparing purchase orders and managing supplier quotations.
  • Provide recommendations and support to joint venture companies to follow the same processes, reporting any non-compliance to ABM management.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for technical services, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost savings.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.
  • Work closely with project teams to understand requirements and plan purchases.
  • Liaise with ABH procurement to ensure procurement policies are appropriate and are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier information.
  • Support the ABM Head of Procurement in building a reliable supplier base and improving purchasing systems.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering , or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in Mining projects .
  • Good knowledge of sourcing, tendering, and contract management.
  • Familiar with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
