Procurement Engineer

WINTER Refrigeration Industrial Equipment Manufacturing L.L.C. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements, while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Possess strong knowledge of industry-related equipment, materials, and supplies, including their suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international vendors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation in compliance with ISO standards.
• Review specifications and technical requirements for static equipment.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable UAE regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement engineering or supply chain management.
• Strong market knowledge in sourcing equipment, materials, and services.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with ERP-based procurement systems.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) with strong computer proficiency.
