- Coordinate with local and international suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
- Review material requests, ensure they meet project requirements, and send inquiries.
- Prepare comparative data by analyzing incoming quotations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure better prices and higher profit margins.
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Receive incoming vehicles, conduct breakdown checks, and maintain records.
- Prepare delivery slips for project shipments and maintain records.
- Maintain records for major projects.
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure adherence to appropriate standards and material monitoring.
- Reconcile all invoices by attaching the purchase order, invoice, and a copy of the delivery slip to advance payments.
- Review engineering specifications, drawings, and data sheets to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to meet budgetary constraints.
- Issue purchase orders (LPOs), process payments, and coordinate with logistics for material delivery.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs.
- Work with engineering, project management, and quality control teams to align procurement with project timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
- Experience: Proven experience in procurement (+2)
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of materials, engineering processes, and supplier quality standards.
