Procurement Engineer

Position Objectives

  • Support effective contract and change management processes by ensuring proper documentation, coordination, and follow-up on change orders, amendments, and contractual communications. Contribute to maintaining compliance, budget alignment, and timely execution of project-related contractual activities.


Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Prepare change order justifications with supporting documentation
  • Review and verify contractor requests for change orders
  • Update and maintain status of change orders in the relevant application system
  • Follow up on the full amendment process until finalization.
  • Request budget reinforcement for approved change orders
  • Prepare SG#4 documentation as per internal requirements
  • Review and prepare notices of default in line with contract terms
  • Draft and review official letters and contractual correspondence
  • Coordinate with project engineers, contracting department, and the PMO.
  • Follow up with concerned divisions and departments to ensure timely actions
  • Track progress and ensure alignment across stakeholders
  • Create shopping carts in the system as required for project needs
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Division Manager or group leader.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 9–14 years of relevant experience in contracts management, project control, or a similar role
  • Experience in change order management, contract administration, and project coordination
  • Strong understanding of contractual processes and documentation
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and project tracking tools is an advantage
