Procurement Engineer - Civil

We are seeking a Procurement Engineer with experience in civil projects. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and contract management in civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements across civil, building, and infrastructure works.
• Prepare, issue, and manage Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers and evaluate their responses.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services related to substation, building, excavation, and finishing works.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure accurate and timely procurement.
• Track delivery schedules for civil project materials and coordinate with suppliers to avoid delays.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify procurement needs throughout different construction phases.
• Address and resolve procurement-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and services used in civil and infrastructure projects.
• UAE experience is required.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/tools.
