Experience: At least 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (construction industry experience is a bonus)

Salary Range: 3,000 to 5,000 AED all inclusive
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE)
• Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus!

We're looking for an experienced Procurement/Purchasing Engineer to join our growing team in the construction industry. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our projects have everything they need—on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase construction materials, equipment, and services to meet the needs of our ongoing projects.
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to make sure everything arrives as expected.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to get the best deals while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Build and maintain a strong list of trusted suppliers to keep our projects moving smoothly.
• Keep track of inventory levels and make sure we always have what we need without overstocking.
• Create purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure everything is in place when needed.
• Collaborate with project teams to find the most cost-effective ways to meet their procurement needs.
• Solve any procurement issues quickly to keep projects on track.
• Help prepare reports and documents related to procurement for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Make sure we’re always following the right processes, regulations, and standards for procurement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the construction industry.
• BE (Bachelor of Engineering) qualification
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, materials management, and construction industry requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software/tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Additional certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or project management (CIPS, PMP, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
