Procurement Executive - Interior Fitout Industry only
Key Responsibilities: He is known as a sourcing executive or purchasing agent, is responsible for acquiring goods and services for an organization. They develop strategies to ensure the best quality products at the best prices.
1. Develop strategies: Create plans to ensure efficient procurement
2. Select suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
3. Negotiate contracts: Work with suppliers to get the best prices and terms
4. Manage relationships: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and other departments
5. Monitor inventory: Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed
6. Manage budgets: Control and monitor expenses against budgets
7. Analyse market trends: Research best products and services and anticipate future needs
8. Manage procurement issues: Handle complaints from vendors and clients
9. Identify risks: Assess and mitigate risks like supply disruptions and compliance breaches
10. Develop reports: Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities
11. Strategy: develops procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and determining inventory levels of products.
