Job Role – Procurement Executive

Company: Master Tech Marine Systems, Dubai
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Location: Dubai
Reporting To: Procurement Manager / Operations Manager

1. Job Summary

The Procurement Executive at Master Tech Marine Systems, Dubai is responsible for negotiating, and purchasing marine equipment, navigation systems, consumables, and technical spare parts required for service operations and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain competitive quotations and prepare comparison sheets based on price, delivery terms, and technical compliance.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for order acknowledgements.
  • Negotiate pricing, warranty terms, credit periods, and delivery timelines.
  • Providing quotations for supply items to the sales team is part of this employee’s job responsibility.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, international marine suppliers, and local vendors in the UAE.
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery reliability, and service.
  • Maintain and update an approved vendor list for Master Systems’ product portfolio. Inventory & Cost Control
  • Coordinate with warehouse/store teams to monitor stock levels for fast-moving and critical items.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, reorder points, and availability for urgent service jobs.
  • Support cost optimisation through supplier consolidation and bulk purchase strategies.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all procured materials comply with marine industry standards such as IMO/SOLAS.
  • Maintain procurement documentation as per audit and ISO requirements.
  • Address quality issues, warranty claims, and non-conformities with suppliers.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Work closely with technical service engineers, project managers, and sales teams to understand procurement requirements.
  • Update internal stakeholders on delivery status and lead times.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports for management.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced marine service environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
