Key Responsibility
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and price movements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships and performance tracking.
- Develop procurement strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and approval documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
- Monitor procurement budgets and report cost savings.
- Raise purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
- Track orders, shipments, and resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain purchase records, GRNs, invoices, and payment follow-ups.
- Compare quotations and prepare purchase reports.
- Coordinate with stores, accounts, and operations for daily purchasing needs.
