Job description
We are currently seeking a “Procurement Executive” to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing procurement operations, ensuring cost efficiency, timely availability of materials, and maintaining strong supplier relationships in alignment with organizational objectives.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in procurement
Qualifications:
- BS/MS Engineering in any field.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for office equipment, technical and non-technical items, services, supplies, and construction materials
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliability, competitive pricing, and service quality
- Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and organizational requirements
- Conduct vendor evaluation and performance assessments on regular basis to ensure compliance with agreed standards
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve optimal procurement outcomes
- Prepare and execute procurement plans in line with departmental and organizational needs
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier databases, including pricing, lead times, and product/service categories
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement support
- Liaise with the Accounts department for invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor settlement matters
- Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options
- Assist in procurement reporting, analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Experience in supplier evaluation, contracting, and performance monitoring
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.); ERP/ SAP procurement systems knowledge will be a plus
- Understanding of financial documentation including invoices, tax compliance requirements, and withholding tax/GST regulations
