Procurement Executive Industrial Food Equipment

We are looking for a highly proactive Purchase Executive with strong knowledge of sourcing raw materials and industrial components for machinery manufacturing. You will manage end-to-end procurement — from identifying vendors to negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure stainless steel sheets & coils (SS 304/316), mild steel plates & structural materials.
• Procure bearings, radiators, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, fasteners, fabrication consumables and other mechanical components.
• Evaluate vendor quotes, negotiate pricing & payment terms to achieve cost savings.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and update supplier database.
• Track material market trends to ensure competitive sourcing.
• Follow up on order status to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.
• Maintain purchase records in ERP / Excel and support cost reporting.
• Coordinate with production, design & stores teams for smooth material flow.
• Desired Candidate Profile:
• 2–5+ years of experience in industrial / fabrication / machinery / process equipment procurement.
• Strong understanding of stainless steel grades, thickness, finishes, and market rates.
• Good knowledge of bearings, motors, radiators, pumps, and fabrication consumables.
• Negotiation skills with a cost-conscious mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel / ERP systems.
• Engineering background (Diploma / B.Tech Mechanical preferred).
