About the job:

• Assist the Perishable in Charge/ Supervisor in the daily operations for the perishable procurement team
• Forecast and streamline ordering process
• Coordinate shipment methods in the absence of Supervisor
• Strictly control GP communication to sales team for perishable goods
• Lead the entire ordering process to suppliers at the predefined intervals
• Custom documentation and import processing
• Inform sales team of lead times and ETA’s
• Forecast report using the predefined format and alert for re-ordering.
• In-Charge with the forecasting/ ordering process for brands/ categories assigned.
• Liaise with Demand Planner for forecasts and orders.
• Prepare landed costs for goods arrived.
• Obtain legal documentation for imports prior to arrivals of goods.
• Manage shipment consolidation in favor of most convenient methods.
• Liaising with suppliers for lead times on orders, availability and frequency of arrivals.
• Maintain an archive and record for all communications with suppliers, quotations, agreements/ contracts.
• Maintain very close rapport and interaction with suppliers dealt with.
• Liaise with suppliers for all required documents in advance, ensuring documents are forwarded to municipality, controlling and ensuring all Dubai municipality approvals are pre-obtained for arrival of goods (FIRS and product registration)
• Ensure customs documents are processed by the arrival of goods ordered.

If you have;

• Hands on experience in similar job role in food and beverage industry
• Hands on experience in perishables

and possess;

• Problem solving skill
• Negotiation skills
• Clear communication – strong English
