Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, and operational requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in coordination with warehouse and operations teams.
- Maintain proper documentation of procurement records, vendor agreements, and invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal departments to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per operational requirements.
- Perform market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving strategies.
- Conduct site visits to farms, warehouses, vendor locations, or partner facilities as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards during procurement processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (preferably in agriculture, FMCG, or food industry).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and procurement documentation processes.
- Willingness to travel for site visits as per business requirements.
