Procurement (Joinery - Fitout)

Golden Link is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, vendor coordination, and material follow-up for our interior fit-out, joinery, construction, and related projects. The ideal candidate must have strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure timely procurement of materials and services in line with project specifications, budgets, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure materials, products, subcontracts, and services as per project and operational requirements
  • Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and compliance
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best commercial and technical terms
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure proper documentation and approval processes are followed
  • Coordinate with design, estimation, projects, factory, and accounts departments for procurement planning and execution
  • Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, production status, delivery schedules, and pending materials
  • Ensure procured materials comply with approved specifications, samples, drawings, and project requirements
  • Maintain and update supplier databases, price records, and procurement trackers
  • Identify reliable new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors
  • Monitor market trends, material availability, and price fluctuations
  • Coordinate logistics and deliveries to ensure timely supply to site, factory, or warehouse
  • Resolve supply delays, shortages, quality issues, and discrepancies with vendors
  • Support cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and project requirements
  • Work closely with accounts to verify invoices, payment terms, and supplier statements
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in interior fit-out, joinery, construction, or building materials
  • Good knowledge of local UAE supplier market
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP/procurement systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple purchases simultaneously

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, finishes, MEP items, and fit-out products
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills
  • Commercial awareness and cost control mindset
  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
