Procurement & Logistics Coordinator KSA

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh,Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role is responsible for driving our localized supply chain strategy, ensuring absolute regulatory compliance, and optimizing end-to-end delivery performance. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between global production and local demand, maintaining a resilient and cost-effective vendor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Local Sourcing & Compliance Onboarding

· Spearhead the identification and qualification of local suppliers within the KSA market.

· Conduct rigorous site visits and audits to verify commercial and legal credentials, including CR (Commercial Registration), VAT, and Zakat certificates.

· Build and maintain a robust localized vendor pool to minimize supply chain disruptions.

2. Sourcing Execution & Cost Optimization

· Lead localized bidding processes and commercial negotiations to secure optimal pricing and favorable payment terms.

· Ensure all procured products meet local regulatory standards, specifically SASO and G-Mark certifications.

· Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing and contract management.

3. End-to-End Delivery & Risk Management

· Oversee the entire supply chain workflow: from domestic origin procurement to cross-border customs clearance and last-mile logistics.

· Perform thorough inbound inspections at local warehouses or sites.

· Take full ownership of On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics, proactively resolving any logistics bottlenecks.

4. Closed-loop Payment & Financial Settlement

· Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure service quality.

· Manage the full financial cycle: account reconciliation, invoice verification, and payment processing.

· Oversee the recovery of retention funds/guarantees to ensure 100% financial compliance and healthy cash flow.

5. Demand Planning & Cross-border Synergy

· Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools to align local procurement with domestic production schedules.

· Enhance forecast accuracy to bridge the gap between global supply and local demand continuity.

6. Logistics & Inventory Governance

· Supervise regional office and warehouse stock to ensure 100% inventory accuracy (book vs. physical).

· Optimize localized distribution networks to reduce operational costs while maintaining strict lead times.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Experience: Proven experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management within Saudi Arabia.

· Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of KSA’s regulatory landscape (ZATCA, SASO, G-Mark, CR).

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and MRP logic.

· Negotiation: Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving cost savings.

· Language: Professional proficiency in English & Native-level fluency in Arabic will be plus(highly preferred).

· Soft Skills: Excellent cross-functional coordination, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
