Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchase Executive to lead the end-to-end procurement operations, including vendor management, RFQ preparation, contract negotiation, e-auction coordination, and purchase analytics. The role demands a high level of expertise in SAP-based procurement, strategic sourcing, and managing vendor relationships across multiple product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Manage end-to-end procurement processes including strategic sourcing, vendor development, RFQ handling, and PO creation.

•

Draft comprehensive RFQs including T&Cs, break-up delivery schedules, and ensure accurate specifications are shared with suppliers.

•

Evaluate vendor responses (sealed bids, RA, no-regret offers, LPP, etc.) and compare prices with existing or last purchase price (LPP) or other benchmarks.

•

Collaborate with the Auction Team to plan and schedule reverse auctions.

•

Generate and analyse reports, track auction progress, and document all RA events from mandate receipt to final award.

•

Act as a key point of contact between clients, internal category managers, and suppliers for all procurement-related activities.

•

Conduct SWOT analysis for supplier evaluation and onboarding; ensure vendor assessments are timely and compliant.

•

Negotiate contract terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms, to ensure maximum value to the organization.

•

Ensure all purchases meet client and internal standards in terms of price, quality, quantity, and delivery timelines.

•

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, delivery status, invoices, and supplier details.

•

Prepare comprehensive reports on purchase activities, cost analysis, savings achieved, and vendor performance.

Key Skills & Requirements:

•

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.

•

5–10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

•

Knowledge of SAP-MM module, e-Procurement systems, and reverse auction tools.

•

Strong skills in vendor negotiation, technical evaluation, and contract management.

•

Experience in handling multiple categories and managing diverse supplier networks.

•

Proficiency in preparing and managing RFQs, POS, technical evaluations, and vendor matrices.

•

Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct cost-benefit analyses and optimize procurement costs.

•

Strong documentation skills and the ability to maintain records, reports, and audit trails.

Pay: ₹18,507.62 - ₹67,951.24 per month
