Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for related goods and services, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for( marine)-related goods and services.

2. Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices.

3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and opportunities.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, technical, finance) to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.

5. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

6. Manage and resolve supplier performance issues, disputes, or claims.

7. Analyze procurement data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.

2. 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a marine or shipping industry context.

3. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, ISM).

2. Experience working with international suppliers and managing global procurement operations.

3. Knowledge of marine industry-specific regulations and standards.
