Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations and supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will oversee sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management processes to ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials and services. This role requires expertise in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, contract negotiation, and procurement management within manufacturing or related industries. The Procurement Manager will play a critical role in optimizing costs, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards including Federal Acquisition Regulations.

Duties

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, including category management and supply chain optimization.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Oversee purchasing processes utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to ensure accurate procurement transactions and data integrity.
  • Conduct contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations such as FAR.
  • Monitor supplier performance through regular evaluations, root cause analysis, and quality management initiatives to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, production planning, and materials management teams to coordinate procurement activities effectively.
  • Manage procurement budgets, pricing strategies, and cost reduction initiatives while maintaining supply chain resilience.
  • Lead procurement projects involving logistics coordination, inventory control, and materials management to support production schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations across all procurement activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications for audit purposes.

Experience

  • Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement operations.
  • Strong background in contract negotiation, contract management, sourcing strategies, and category management.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems, production planning processes, and logistics coordination.
  • Experience with federal regulations including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in supplier management, root cause analysis, pricing strategies, and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with a strategic mindset for sourcing and supply chain optimization.
  • Prior experience managing procurement teams or leading cross-functional projects is highly desirable. Pay: $56,221.00 - $67,707.01 per year
