Job Title: Purchase / Procurement Manager – Solar EPC

Job Summary

Savorka Solar is looking for a Purchase / Procurement Manager with hands-on experience in solar EPC procurement to manage vendor sourcing, material purchasing, cost negotiation and timely delivery of solar project materials. The candidate will work closely with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end procurement of solar EPC materials (modules, inverters, structures, cables, BOS, etc.)
Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers
Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), RFQs, POs, and contracts
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranties
Coordinate with project and site teams for material requirements and timelines
Ensure on-time delivery of materials as per project schedules
Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and inventory tracking
Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
Support cost optimization and vendor performance evaluation
Coordinate with logistics and finance teams for billing and payments

Preferred Skills

Experience working with solar EPC companies
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Management
Knowledge of GST, logistics and import procurement (optional)
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple vendors
1–3 years of experience in procurement / purchase, preferably in Solar EPC
Strong knowledge of solar components and BOS materials
Experience in vendor negotiation and contract management
Good understanding of procurement processes and documentation
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and email communication
Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills
