Procurement Manager

Huawei Pakistan is looking for a Procurement Manager to join its Procurement Qualification Department in Islamabad.

This role is responsible for managing procurement activities for engineering projects, ensuring timely material and service delivery, coordinating with suppliers, mitigating procurement risks, and supporting successful project execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Procurement

Independently manage procurement activities for engineering projects, including materials and services.
Coordinate procurement plans to support project schedules and business requirements.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.

Supplier Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Follow up on daily procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery-related issues.

Project Coordination

Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to support project execution.
Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation plans.
Assist in resolving procurement and supplier-related issues.

Reporting & Process Management

Track procurement progress and prepare regular status reports.
Maintain procurement documentation and ensure process compliance.
Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
0–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, project coordination, or engineering operations.
Basic understanding of telecom industry operations and engineering projects.
Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, and vendor management.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Fluent in English.
