Our client, a global car rental company, is looking for an experienced
Procurement Manager
to lead sourcing and supplier management for automotive parts, consumables, and operational supplies. This role plays a key part in optimizing costs, ensuring supplier reliability, and strengthening our overall procurement strategy to support fleet operations and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for spare parts, consumables, and related materials within the car rental or automotive sector.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, conduct prequalification and periodic performance assessments.

Lead RFQ, tendering, and negotiation processes, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, SOPs, and budgetary goals.

Secure strategic supplier agreements that deliver competitive pricing, quality assurance, and timely delivery.

Collaborate with technical, operations, and fleet management teams to forecast demand and ensure seamless procurement planning.

Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and spend patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.

Manage vendor contracts, approvals, and invoice reconciliations, escalating delays or cost impacts as needed.

Maintain optimal inventory levels of parts and consumables to support operational efficiency.

Prepare regular procurement reports, KPIs, and trend analyses to inform decision-making and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

years of experience in procurement within the
automotive or logistics industry.

Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components, and supply chains.

Proven record of successful vendor negotiation, cost optimization, and supplier relationship management.
