Procurement Manager – Buying Enablement
About the Team

Our Procurement Buying Enablement is a critical team supporting Global Procurement to achieve its strategic objectives of exceptional buying service through effective and efficient processes.

We create competitive advantage through robust and sustainable partnerships that unlock Haleon's potential. By collaborating as a One Procurement team, we drive real value for Haleon and the consumers we serve.

The buying enablement team will work collaboratively with business along with the Global Procurement bringing proven methods, and expert capabilities in buying needs, problem solving, data and systems. They, along with the Procurement Strategy & Delivery Leadership Team, will instil a culture of continuous improvement and a Service Excellence mindset. This team will work globally ensuring consistency in the right buying processes and ensure solutions meet the needs locally, where required.
Role Overview
As a Procurement Enablement Manager, you will play a key role in facilitating compliant, timely, and cost-effective purchasing for mid-tier spend requests. Your day-to-day activities will include understanding the shopper needs, executing quick sourcing and PR to PO fulfilment with cost efficiency, maintaining KPIs, provide excellent shopper experience, and ensure compliance to procurement policy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding mid-tier managed needs, policy guidance, and compliant buying processes
  • Support category/BU team to deliver key strategic programs like supplier consolidation, supplier rationalization, e-invoicing adoption, e-sourcing adoption etc.
  • Execute the triaged PRs, ensuring rapid resolution and policy compliance for all purchases
  • Execute quick RFQs / supplier selection, evaluate quotes, complete commercial checks and raise compliant PR/PO in Ariba/SAP per policy
  • Resolve shopper queries on their purchase requests routed to buying enablement desks as per agreed SLA.
  • Escalate exceptions & compliance issues to Procurement teams
  • Maintain accurate records (line-item level), audit trails and audit packs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement: identify repeat patterns, propose catalogue or policy changes
  • Maintain strong relationships with business and category leads
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelors - Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, related field or any Bachelors, combined with relevant experience.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Procurement with strong domain expertise in understanding of the end-to-end buying cycle
  • Proven expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, indirect category management, cost modeling, and supplier relationship management
  • Strong hands-on experience on Procurement and sourcing technologies (Ariba Guided Buying is strongly preferred), SLM/vendor master, SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana, (P2P screens), etc.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing procurement processes and contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex issues, manage escalations, and influence stakeholders effectively
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (e.g., PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
