Key Responsibilities
Strategic Duties
- Develop procurement strategies to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of project materials.
- Coordinate with Construction Management and the Design team for supplier selection and performance evaluation.
- Support management in negotiating contracts, terms, and credit lines with suppliers and subcontractors.
Administrative Duties
- Conduct regular team meetings and ensure smooth workflow.
- Prepare monthly departmental activity reports.
- Identify manpower needs and recommend training for team members.
- Perform performance appraisals and assign backup support when required.
- Handle additional tasks assigned by the Logistics Manager.
Technical Duties
- Maintain and review purchasing records, contracts, requisitions, and inventory reports.
- Approve bills, verify costs, assign invoices, and monitor material consumption.
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers using online sources, catalogs, and trade shows.
- Conduct supplier interviews and prepare comparison sheets for decision-making.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure accurate bookkeeping of inventory transfers.
