Procurement Manager (Emiratisation)

Summary


The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations across Finance House Group. The role focuses on developing and implementing strategic procurement frameworks, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring cost efficiency and compliance across all categories of spend. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical capabilities, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to deliver sustainable value to the organization.


Major Responsibilities


  • Lead the end to end procurement function, including strategic sourcing, vendor selection, and contract management.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies, processes, and best practices to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Negotiate and finalize supplier agreements to secure optimal terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, plan procurement activities, and align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Evaluate cost proposals, bids, and supplier performance to ensure value for money and operational excellence.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and implement strategic cost-saving programs across the Group.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance through structured evaluations and reviews.
  • Monitor market trends, inflationary factors, and supply chain risks, providing insights for informed decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation and administration of contracts, purchase orders, and vendor records.
  • Lead vendor audits and performance improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Mentor and guide procurement staff, promoting continuous improvement and professional development within the team.


Knowledge & Skills


  • Comprehensive understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and supplier management.
  • Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/procurement systems.
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in procurement (CIPS or equivalent) preferred.


Experience


  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Experience within the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
