Position: Procurement Manager

Position Overview

Blaura is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to manage end-to-end purchasing operations across our café, kitchen, events, and wellness business. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in restaurants, cafés, or food-related businesses and strong market knowledge of suppliers for food items, beverages, consumables, shampoos, and event-related materials.

This role is critical in ensuring daily availability of quality products, cost efficiency, and accurate inventory control while supporting Blaura’s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify, source, and manage reliable vendors for food ingredients, beverages, café supplies, shampoos, cleaning products, and event-related items.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Stay updated on market trends, quality standards, and alternative sourcing options.

Daily Ordering & Inventory Control

  • Handle daily ordering based on consumption, par levels, and event requirements.
  • Receive goods, verify quality and quantity, and complete GRN (Goods Received Note) accurately.
  • Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages, overstocking, and wastage.

Costing & Budget Control

  • Prepare and maintain recipe costing and menu costing in coordination with the kitchen and café team.
  • Track food cost, beverage cost, and consumables cost to meet budget targets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Systems & Reporting

  • Manage procurement, inventory, GRN, and vendor records using ERP software (experience with Odoo preferred).
  • Generate procurement, consumption, and cost reports for management review.
  • Ensure documentation and records are accurate and audit-ready.

Coordination & Compliance

  • Coordinate closely with kitchen, café, events, and operations teams for planned requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company procurement policies.
  • Support procurement needs for special events, activations, and promotions.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager / Purchase Executive in a restaurant, café, catering, or food business.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing food items, beverages, consumables, shampoos, and event supplies.
  • Hands-on experience in daily ordering, receiving, and GRN processes.
  • Experience in recipe costing and food cost control.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; Odoo experience is a strong advantage.
  • Good negotiation, vendor management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong reporting skills.

Preferred Profile

  • Hospitality or food & beverage background.
  • Experience supporting multi-outlet or event-based operations.
  • Immediate availability preferred- Female Only
