Procurement Manager (FMD)

Role Purpose

Lead and manage procurement of spare parts, materials, and consumables for Facility Management projects (medical and non-medical) to ensure smooth operations, cost efficiency, quality, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle: RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and supplier evaluation.

• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and materials to avoid downtime and service interruption.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to confirm specifications and urgent requirements.

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best quality, delivery time, and cost.

• Ensure all items meet required standards, OEM requirements (when applicable), and client/project procedures.

• Monitor stock levels, consumption, and reorder points for critical items.

• Maintain proper documentation, approvals, and audit-ready procurement records.

• Support emergency procurement requests and fast-track urgent deliveries when needed.

• Use ERP or procurement systems for tracking, reporting, and control.

• Prepare simple reports on procurement status, cost savings, supplier performance, and risks.


Skills & Competencies

• Strong procurement and supplier management skills.

• Good knowledge of FM spare parts and maintenance materials.

• Good negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple sites/projects.
