Job Brief:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic trading company in Oman, where you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, building supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing to support the company’s business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of used heavy equipment including bulldozers, graders, dozers, crushers, batching plants, and other machinery.
- Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with reliable suppliers, dealers, and auction houses globally.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, terms, and pricing to ensure competitive advantage.
- Oversee the entire procurement cycle including sourcing, evaluation, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and availability of heavy equipment in international markets.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and forecasts for management review.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Any Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in heavy equipment trading or similar industries (construction machinery, industrial equipment, etc.).
- Proven expertise in sourcing and purchasing
- Must be fluent in Arabic Language
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of suppliers, markets, and pricing within the heavy equipment industry.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with global suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/procurement systems.
