1. Procurement & Purchasing
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, furnishings, finishes, MEP items, and fit-out materials.
- Review project BOQs, drawings, and material specifications to ensure accurate procurement.
- Issue RFQs, analyze quotations, and prepare cost comparisons.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranty conditions.
- Ensure all purchases align with budget and project timelines.
2. Vendor & Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain a strong supplier network locally and internationally.
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, reliability, and pricing.
- Conduct factory visits and quality checks when required.
- Maintain a supplier database with updated pricing and product catalogs.
3. Contract & Documentation
- Prepare purchase orders, service agreements, and supply contracts.
- Monitor contract execution to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with finance for payments and with logistics for deliveries.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.
4. Project Coordination
- Work closely with design, project management, and production teams.
- Monitor material lead times and delivery status to avoid project delays.
- Support site teams with alternative materials when needed.
5. Cost Control & Strategy
- Track procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
