Overview

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-established company in the plastic raw material trading industry. Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager to strengthen their procurement function. This is a strategic role for professionals who understand the plastics/polymers supply ecosystem and thrive in fast-paced trading environments. If you bring a proven track record in procurement, solid supplier networks and the ability to negotiate with impact, this is an opportunity to be part of a respected supply team driving global sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and source suppliers for plastic raw materials and polymers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Negotiate pricing terms and contracts to secure the best deals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and trends.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Manage purchase orders, track deliveries and handle vendor performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain in a trading company handling plastic raw materials or polymers.
  • Familiarity with the plastic raw materials/polymer industry is essential.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software is a plus.
