Procurement Manager(Construction)

India

1.Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the

overall business goals, ensuring that the company's procurement processes are efficient and

cost-effective.

2.Sourcing and Negotiation: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts,

and managing supplier relationships to ensure that the company gets the best value for its

money.

3.Purchasing: Managing the purchasing process, from creating purchase requisitions and purchase

orders to ensuring that the materials and equipment are delivered on time and meet the

company's quality standards.

4.Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels to ensure that the company has the right

amount of materials and equipment on hand to meet project demands while minimizing excess

inventory and associated costs.

5.Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans to mitigate them,

such as identifying alternative suppliers in case of supply chain disruptions.

6.Team Management: Managing and developing a team of procurement professionals, setting

performance goals, providing feedback, and ensuring that the team has the necessary skills and

resources to meet business objectives.

7.Reporting: The procurement head is responsible for providing regular reports on procurement

activities to senior management, including procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier

performance.

8.Analyzing market trends: You will need to keep up to date with market trends and identify

opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.

9.Contract Management: The procurement head is responsible for managing contracts, including

developing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring that suppliers meet contractual

obligations.

10.Quality Control: The procurement head is responsible for ensuring that all materials and services

meet the required quality standards, including performing quality checks and inspections.

11.Cost Management: The procurement head is responsible for managing procurement costs,

including identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating prices, and tracking expenses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
