Procurement Manager(Solar)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement (Purchase) Manager to manage the company’s purchasing operations, build strong vendor relationships, negotiate cost-effective deals, and ensure timely supply of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and onboard vendors, suppliers, and distributors.
• Negotiate prices, finalize purchase orders, and optimize cost savings.
• Evaluate vendor creditworthiness and maintain approved vendor lists.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather material requirements.
• Track purchase orders, ensure timely delivery, and manage logistics follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory status.
• Collaborate with accounts team for vendor payments and reconcile purchase data.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchase management (5+ years).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of vendor selection, credit evaluation, and cost control techniques.
• Familiarity with ERP software / MS Excel for purchase tracking.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
