Procurement Media Buying Expert

About the Role

The job holder is responsible for ensuring that media investments are transparent, optimized, and accurately invoiced. This role plays a critical part in validating media spending, reconciling invoices, and ensuring compliance with contractual and financial controls.

Key Accountabilities

• 
  Track media spend across campaigns and platforms to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

• Maintain accurate records of commitments, actuals, and forecasts.

• Provide regular spend reports and insights.

• Identify discrepancies or irregularities in spend patterns.

• Review and validate media invoices against platform data, insertion orders, and agreed rates.

• Reconcile billed amounts with actual delivery and performance metrics.

• Confirm vendor compliance with contractual terms.

• Ensure all billing is supported by transparent documentation and proof of performance.

• Act as a key interface between Marketing, Agencies, Finance, and Procurement.

• Support vendor evaluations with performance and cost data.

• Contribute to process improvements for media buying governance and financial control.

• Any other task handed over by the function head.

• To perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, and to report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to Data Control Department immediately. In addition, ensure that all team members are following policies mentioned.

• Be aware of, and adhere to, all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait.

What We Need From You

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in social media buying or digital media planning.

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of paid social platforms and media metrics.

• Experience working with media budgets, billing, and reconciliation.

• Familiarity with procurement and financial control processes is a strong advantage.
