Procurement Officer

Saudi Arabia

  • Perform duties in line with policies to achieve departmental targets, ensuring efficient procurement activities and reporting on progress.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations using negotiation techniques to secure quality, pricing, delivery, and service, and maintain updated price lists in the system.
  • Manage procurement transactions, including receiving PRs, sending inquiries, price comparisons, purchase orders, and payments, while ensuring operational continuity.
  • Coordinate with end-users to identify alternative parts, plan material delivery, and optimize cost savings with minimal disruptions.
  • Monitor supplier performance, maintain relationships with local and international vendors, and ensure adherence to contract terms and ethical standards.
  • Analyze market conditions, prepare reports on material availability, and stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting procurement.
  • Follow up on orders with suppliers, track delivery status, and ensure timely receipt and distribution of goods to Jeddah and Rabigh stores.
  • Support the logistics department with shipment documentation and clearance, ensuring smooth goods flow and coordination with warehousing teams.
  • Collaborate with the finance department on payment requests and schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of payments.
  • Prepare and submit detailed procurement reports and perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or any related field.
  • 03 years of experience in a related field.
  • PMP, Negotiation Strategies, Purchasing Management or any related training is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
