We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in the aluminium industry to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end procurement activities, ensure timely sourcing of materials, and maintain strong vendor relationships to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers specializing in aluminium products and related materials.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate deliveries to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, industry trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and UAE regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains.
- Collaborate with production, finance, and logistics teams to support operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the aluminium industry (profiles, sheets, coils, extrusion, or fabrication).
- Strong knowledge of aluminium suppliers, products, and market pricing in the UAE.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
