Procurement Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities, ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills and experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials/services.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments on material requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
  • Review and analyze supplier performance.
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost control.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of [2–3] years experience in procurement or purchasing role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations is an advantage.
