Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing the best quality materials, goods, and services at the most competitive prices. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, a strong understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and prices to ensure the best possible deals.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising on quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
• Provide regular updates to management on procurement activities.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in construction procurement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• ⁠2-4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
