Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team. This role is essential in managing the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment rentals, and services for various construction projects.

You will be responsible for handling supplier coordination, negotiating prices, processing purchase orders, and managing vendor relationships — all while ensuring compliance with company policies and project-specific requirements. Additionally, the role includes overseeing sales coordination and daily operations related to shipments, packing, and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with engineers and manage the full procurement cycle
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
  • Raise and track purchase orders and delivery timelines
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of purchased goods and services
  • Oversee shipping, packing, and delivery operations
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
