The Fit-Out Procurement Officer oversees the procurement process for interior fit-out projects, ensuring efficient acquisition of materials and services in line with project specifications. This role involves supplier management, contract negotiation, and coordination of deliveries to support the unique requirements of interior design and fit-out projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and services. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
  2. Procurement Planning: Develop and implement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets. Coordinate with stakeholders to meet material and service needs.
  3. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers. Ensure compliance with company policies and manage contract performance.
  4. Order Processing: Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records. Track and manage orders from initiation to delivery, resolving issues as needed.
  5. Budget Control: Monitor procurement expenditures to stay within project budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and prepare financial reports.
  6. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics teams for material transportation and delivery. Manage inventory levels and implement effective control practices.
  7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations. Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions and maintain documentation.
  8. Communication: Work closely with project teams and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on procurement status and collaborate effectively to meet project requirements.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Review and refine procurement processes to enhance efficiency. Stay informed about industry trends and technologies to optimize sourcing and purchasing operations.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or interior fit-out.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Procore), Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with interior fit-out materials, suppliers, and industry-specific procurement practices.
