Procurement Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our catering operations team. The role is responsible for sourcing quality food, beverages, and operational supplies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure food ingredients, packaging, and catering supplies
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with vendors
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen, operations, and finance teams
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years of procurement experience (catering, F&B, or hospitality preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and purchasing processes
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with food cost control and demand planning
  • Familiarity with local suppliers and market pricing
  • Proficiency in Excel or procurement software
