Procurement Officer

Job Summary:
Venus Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer with experience in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality products, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of FMCG-related goods and services
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices and contracts
• Ensure timely purchasing and delivery of materials
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams
• Monitor market trends and pricing to optimize costs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
• Prepare procurement reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement (FMCG preferred)
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting
• Knowledge of local supplier market
