The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing all purchasing activities for workshop production, site requirements, staff accommodation supplies, and daily operational needs. This role requires efficient coordination with suppliers, drivers, workshop teams, site teams, and accounts to ensure smooth purchasing and cost control.
Responsibilities:
Purchase workshop production materials, tools, machinery supplies, and project-related goods
Handle daily small purchases for workshop operations, accommodation, and mess requirements
Source reliable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records
Coordinate with drivers for material collection and delivery
Coordinate with workshop, site, and project teams for urgent and planned requirements
Manage purchases for staff living facilities, including accommodation and mess-related supplies
Coordinate with accounts for expense tracking, payment processing, and financial reporting
Ensure timely availability of materials and supplies for uninterrupted operations
Requirements:
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
Good negotiation and supplier management skills
Knowledge of workshop production materials, interior fit-out, and construction supplies
Ability to manage both operational and staff facility purchasing
Strong organizational and reporting skills
Basic computer knowledge
