- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all food, beverage, packaging, and operational supplies required by restaurants and cafés.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Develop and maintain a reliable supplier database for fresh produce, dry goods, beverages, disposables, cleaning materials, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure all purchased items comply with F&B quality standards, hygiene regulations, and company specifications.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions from kitchens, outlets, and central operations.
- Monitor inventory levels in coordination with storekeepers and kitchen teams to ensure continuous availability of critical items while minimizing waste and overstock.
- Conduct regular price comparisons and market surveys to optimize procurement costs and improve supplier performance.
- Coordinate closely with restaurant managers, and operations teams to understand menu requirements and forecast demand.
- Track order status, delivery schedules, and ensure timely supply to all outlets without disruption to operations.
- Inspect and verify received goods against purchase orders in coordination with warehouse/store teams, ensuring quality and quantity accuracy.
- Handle supplier performance evaluation, including quality consistency, delivery reliability, and pricing competitiveness.
- Manage procurement documentation including contracts, invoices, delivery notes, and payment requests in coordination with finance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality or service standards.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal approval workflows.
- Resolve supply issues, shortages, and discrepancies with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Support menu development and seasonal promotions by sourcing new ingredients and alternative products when required.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate periodic reports on purchasing activities, cost trends, and supplier performance.
- Stay updated with market trends in the F&B industry, including seasonal availability and price fluctuations of raw materials.
Pay: From QAR4,000.00 per month
