Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and market sourcing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely material procurement, and maintaining procurement records to support smooth business operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Sourcing
- Conduct daily market visits to identify suppliers, compare prices, and obtain quotations for required materials and services.
- Arrange and evaluate quotations based on company requirements, specifications, quality standards, and budget considerations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing, product availability, delivery schedules, and negotiations.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor the procurement process until successful delivery.
Vendor & Delivery Management
- Ensure timely coordination of material pickup and delivery with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and project teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and market vendors.
- Resolve supply chain, delivery, and procurement-related issues promptly.
Coordination & Documentation
- Work closely with warehouse, accounts, administration, and project departments to fulfill procurement requirements.
- Verify the quantity and quality of delivered materials against purchase orders and approved specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including quotations, invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders, and vendor documentation.
- Keep updated records of approved vendors, market rates, and pricing comparisons.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily and weekly procurement status reports for management.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support emergency purchasing requirements and cost-saving initiatives.
RequirementsEducation
- Intermediate, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good market knowledge and vendor management capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with procurement procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Email communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary: PKR 45,000 – 60,000 per month
Experience Preferred: 1–3 years in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Operations.
