Key Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and purchase automobile spare parts, lubricants, and service materials from approved suppliers.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels; ensure timely restocking without overstock or shortages.
- Verify incoming goods for quantity, quality, and compliance with specifications; record and tag all parts in the inventory management system.
- Liaise with service team for requisition, delivery, and planning of spare parts for workshop jobs.
- Track consumption, usage trends, and prepare regular inventory/stock reports.
- Maintain and organize the store/warehouse facility for safe and efficient operations.
- Handle returns, replacements, and warranty claims with suppliers.
- Support audits and reporting for stock reconciliations, loss, or damage.
- Implement and follow company procurement and store policies to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Ensure proper labeling, binning, and categorization for easy retrieval of stock items.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply issues.
- Monitor market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers to maintain competitive purchasing.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement/store keeping of automobile spare parts and services.
- Solid knowledge of auto parts, brands, suppliers, and workshop requirements.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and documentation skills.
- Experience in store management, stock control, and inventory accounting systems.
- Good computer skills—MS Excel, inventory software, email, etc.
- Attention to detail, with organizational and time management strengths.
- Honest, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team.
