Store Keeper - Furniture

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Store Keeper to join our factory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory of raw materials, components, and finished products within the factory. The candidate should be familiar with furniture operations and have a strong understanding of raw materials used in furniture manufacturing, ensuring that all stock is properly maintained, accounted for, and available for production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation for incoming and outgoing stock.
• Ensure that all raw materials, including wood, metal, fabrics, and hardware, are properly stored to prevent damage or loss.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as necessary to meet production requirements.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure the timely availability of materials and supplies for production.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with the system records.
• Inspect materials for quality and quantity, ensuring they meet factory specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area to promote efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of materials.
• Assist in coordinating the movement of finished products from the factory to the warehouse or shipping area.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide feedback on stock levels to the management team.
• Assist in managing inventory of tools and equipment related to furniture production.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Store Keeper, particularly in a factory or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with furniture operations and raw materials used in furniture manufacturing (wood, metal, fabrics, hardware, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to operate inventory management systems and basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
