Role Overview

The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for automotive operations and back-office requirements. The role ensures cost efficiency, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination across departments using Odoo ERP.

Key ResponsibilitiesAutomotive Procurement

  • Source and procure vehicles, spare parts, accessories, lubricants, and workshop tools
  • Coordinate with OEMs, dealers, and approved automotive suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, warranties, and delivery schedules
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and support maintenance and fleet operations

Back Office Procurement

  • Procure office supplies, IT equipment, software licenses, uniforms, pantry items, and general services
  • Manage contracts for telecom, internet, cleaning, security, insurance, and facility maintenance
  • Coordinate with HR and Admin for employee-related procurement needs

ERP (Odoo) & Documentation

  • Create and manage PRs, RFQs, and POs in Odoo
  • Maintain supplier master data, pricing, and product categories in Odoo
  • Track deliveries, GRNs, invoice matching, and procurement reports
  • Ensure data accuracy and audit-ready documentation

Finance, Compliance & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with Finance for budget control and payment follow-ups
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations
  • Evaluate supplier performance and resolve procurement issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in automotive
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (mandatory), particularly Purchase and Inventory modules
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, services, and technical specifications
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and reporting tools
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) – mandatory
  • Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
  • Familiarity with the UAE automotive market and suppliers is preferred
