Procurement Officer (Construction)

We are urgently hiring a Procurement Officer with construction industry experience who is available for immediate joining. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience and hands-on knowledge of sourcing construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and procure construction materials, equipment, and services
• Evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to meet deadlines
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery to construction sites
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and industry standards
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role
• Mandatory experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and logistics
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
