Procurement Officer cum Driver

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Procurement Officer cum Driver to support our daily operations and project requirements. This hybrid role combines procurement responsibilities with transportation and logistics support, ensuring the smooth and timely execution of company activities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory records, and providing safe and efficient transportation for materials, site requirements, and company-related errands. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, tools, equipment, and supplies at competitive prices
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, and supplier records
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory management activities
• Compare quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and operations teams regarding material requirements

Driving & Logistics Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials, equipment, and company personnel when required
• Assist with site visits, deliveries, collections, and company errands
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely transportation and fuel optimization
• Ensure the company vehicle is clean, properly maintained, and serviced regularly
• Follow UAE traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies

Requirements

• Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or a similar role
• Good knowledge of material sourcing, supplier coordination, and purchasing procedures
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping
• Ability to manage both procurement and driving responsibilities effectively
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• UAE experience is preferred
