Procurement Officer cum Driver

Fixen Technical Services LLC is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Procurement Officer cum Driver to support our day-to-day operations and project requirements. This dual-role position combines procurement, logistics, and transportation responsibilities to ensure the timely delivery of materials, efficient supplier coordination, and smooth operational support.

The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing and logistics, possess a valid UAE driving license, and be capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement

• Source and purchase materials, tools, equipment, and supplies while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier databases.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock planning and replenishment.
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and operations staff to meet material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Driving & Logistics

• Safely transport materials, equipment, and company personnel as required.
• Handle deliveries, collections, supplier visits, site visits, and other company-related errands.
• Plan efficient travel routes to ensure timely deliveries and optimize transportation costs.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and serviced according to schedule.
• Comply with UAE traffic regulations and company safety policies.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or a similar role.
• Good understanding of sourcing, supplier coordination, and purchasing processes.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and procurement documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage procurement and transportation duties efficiently and independently.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Experience in maintenance, fit-out, renovation, construction, or building materials procurement is an advantage.
