Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Procurement Officer located in Doha, Qatar. The Procurement officer will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, analytical skills, procurement, and contract management in the bakery industry.

Minimum 3-5 years experience in Qatar.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, select, and build relationships with food suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers.
  • Negotiation: Secure optimal pricing, terms, and contracts for all purchased goods and services.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all procured items meet strict quality standards, hygiene protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FSSAI).
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate records.
  • Market Analysis: Track food market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with production, operations, finance, and quality assurance teams.
  • Reporting: Provide data and insights on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
